Community Medical Center Healthcare System is a leading provider

CMC specializes in women's and children's services including perinatology,
maternity, neonatology, pediatrics and has the region's most advanced
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, providing state of the art care for
25 years. This NICU offers advanced respiratory support and is the
only regional referral center for high risk mothers and babies in
the 7 counties of northeastern Pennsylvania. It serves as the NEPA
Regional Trauma Center and provides complete cardiac services, including
open-heart surgery.
Moses Taylor Hospital is a community-based health care facility
with a long tradition of providing quality health care services
to the residents of northeastern Pennsylvania. Founded in 1892 by
a New York City merchant, banker and industrialist named Moses Taylor,
the hospital's main campus is located at 700 Quincy Avenue, Scranton,
PA.
MTH offers expanded and improved services with the addition of
an MRI/CT Center and a Wound Care Center, along with Home Health
Services and the area’s only hospital-based Skilled Nursing
Facility. MTH is also dedicated to becoming a center of excellence
for women’s and children’s services, offering obstetric
care in the state-of-the-art Family Birthing Suites, including a
Level 3A Neonatal Intensive Care Unit to care for high-risk, ventilated
infants who require complex, multi-system management.
Organized as a corporation in 1997, PrimeMed, P.C. has been providing
medical and diagnostic services to patients in Lackawanna and Wayne
Counties since 1998. With 26 medical staff members, PrimeMed P.C.
offers services at 14 locations throughout Lackawanna and Wayne
Counties.
